One of my go to places on the south shore. We were a group of 3 grabbing some food before heading to the movies. Service was fast and staff were friendly. They have a lot of options from snacking to full on meals. The fried rice cakes are great as appetizers and the portions for the meals are really big. It was my first time trying Kimchi Jiggae and it didn’t disappoint. It was comforting and spicy. I’ll recommend to anyone who’s passing by there for a good time with friends:))

Mon Ami is a great place to get korean food/products. I tried many dishes which were all very delicious. My favorite was the marinated bulgogi beef! It's tender and flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely lovely. The decor, the clean/natural aesthetic, is inviting and pleasant. Service was great too, overall a great place.

TLDR; great food and chicken. Great service for a good price. This place was great! The service felt like a mom and pop shop, the food was fantastic for the price point and their fried chicken was cooked to perfection with just right amount of crunch. The vibes are super clean and welcoming, with not a hint of snobbiness. We took the family there and were welcomed with open arms and warm smile. If we’re in the area we will be back for sure.

The service and the food are excellent! The staff is so kind and have good knowledge of the menu. We shared the tofu soup, beef udon, spicy pork japchae, and general Tao plate.

We had a very good experience. Great service and great food! Offering hot water or lemon water was a nice touch. The tteok-kkochi was soft and chewy, the fried chicken was crisp and tender. We highly recommend the bulgogi and spicy pork udon dishes. The udon was cooked perfectly and the pork was very flavourful.
